Return & Refund Policy

As we deal in perishable items we don’t do any refund / exchange.
However we do make exceptions in case you :

  • Don’t receive the delivery of product within 15 days of placing the order.
  • Receive the wrong product
  • Received a tampered or damaged product

We Reserve The Right.

  • To request product identification
  • To determine the product has been damaged, abused or used
  • Please reach out to us within 24 hours of receipt of the product otherwise we will be unable to assist you and address concerns as these are perishable products.

The amount will be refunded /reimbursed to the same instrument that was used for transaction at JC Chocolates. The refund will be credited to your account within 7-10 business working days, as per the standard banking procedure.

We are extremely diligent and do not sell expired products. In the event that you get an expired product, we will give you 2x of the product value back as a gift voucher.

Products which are not expired or damaged will not be exchanged or refunded under any circumstance.

If a product has expiry date written in MM/YY format, the expiry would be at the end of that month. This is the international standard for expiry dates. For example, a product having expiry date of 01/21, would expire on 31st of January, 2021.

If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your order upon arrival, please contact at 9582790323. within 24hrs of receipt, with a detailed description and photograph(s) evidencing your dissatisfaction, for assistance with a replacement. Please note that if we do not receive a complaint within 24 hours of receiving the product you will not be eligible for any replacement.

Due to the perishable nature of our chocolate gifts, all claims submitted without proper support will not be eligible for reshipment. JC Chocolates reserves the right to limit replacements.

Refunds are not offered.

Please read and understand the terms of cancellation and returns carefully.

1. Cancellation

An order once placed goes to the production queue automatically and cannot be cancelled.

1. Changes in order details/shipping address

It is not possible for us to edit customisation details such as name, message given or uploaded by the customer. If there is a change in shipping address it needs to be communicated to us immediately after placing the order. We will try and accommodate the change but we cannot be held responsible for delay or non delivery of such an order.

3. Mistakes in final product

JC Chocolates is not liable for mistakes in the information uploaded or submitted by the customer.

In case the customisation details given by the customer have not been incorporated into the product correctly we will make and re-ship the order at no extra charge.

4. Melted Chocolates/ Other Damage

Please note that this is an edible product and there can be small differences/variations in the image of chocolates on website. In cases where there is significant damage we will make and re-ship the order.

5. Delayed Delivery/ Non Delivery of order

We will ship your order to the shipping address(es) you provide. Please include a street address, and name, apartment numbers when applicable to ensure proper delivery.

JC Chocolates is not responsible for failed deliveries when:

1. You provide an incorrect or outdated address;

2. Your recipient is out of town or not available,

We are also not liable for delivery delays that are outside of our control, such as extreme weather conditions, or other general delays on the carriers’ end.

SHIPPING POLICY

  • Delivery – 10-15 working days. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date.
  • Shipping – We ship through reliable third party courier service and we shall share the tracking id with you as soon as the product is picked up. You can then track the shipment online.
  • Kindly provide an address where someone would be available at all times since our courier partners do not call prior to delivering an order. Deliveries may not be possible on Sundays and National Holidays. Redirection to any other address is not possible.
  • Packaging – The chocolate box is packed properly in thermocol box so that the chocolate boxes remain intact during transit. We ensure that you receive the chocolate boxes in perfect condition.
  • Storage Instructions – Once you receive the box please keep in a cool and dry place. Ideal temperature below 25 degree celsius. Avoid exposure to moisture and direct sunlight.

We recommend that the chocolates be consumed within 3 months.
